ShopView, Inc. (“ShopView”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information in our custody and control. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard personal information in connection with our website https://shopview.com (the “Site”), our software-as-a-service platform and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By using or accessing our Services after the Effective Date above, you agree to this Privacy Policy. We may update it from time to time – when we do, we will post the revised version here and update the Effective Date. Our terms of use provide further terms governing your use of our Site and Services.
1. What We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Inquiry & Support: name, email, company name, message content.
- Account Registration: business name, billing address, email, phone number, username and password.
- Payment Data: payment card or bank account details, collected and tokenized by our payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
- Client Data: information about your owners, employees and representatives (name, email, phone).
- Customer Data: when you onboard your own customers in ShopView, we process their data on your behalf – see Section 6.
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Log Data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, access times, referring/exit pages.
- Usage Metrics: feature usage, error logs, performance statistics.
- Cookies & Similar Technologies: we use cookies to enable authentication, remember preferences, analyze Site usage and deliver tailored marketing.
1.3 Third‑Party Analytics & Advertising
- We work with Google Analytics to track Site usage (see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner‑sites).
- We participate in online advertising networks (Google Ads, DAA, NAI). To opt out of interest‑based ads, visit https://optout.aboutads.info or https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices.
2. How We Use Information
- Deliver & Improve the Services: authentication, billing, support, feature development.
- Communications: send transactional messages (invoices, security alerts) and, where permitted, marketing communications.
- Legal & Compliance: fraud prevention, tax and accounting obligations, dispute resolution.
- Analytics & Personalization: understand usage trends and personalize your experience.
3. Disclosure of Personal Information
We do not sell Personal Data. We may share information with:
- Service Providers: hosting, data processing, payment, marketing, analytics – under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Affiliates & Subprocessors: solely to support or improve the Services; see our Subprocessor List.
- Corporate Transactions: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

If you are one of our Clients’ end‑customers, please direct all questions about your personal data to your service provider (our “Client”).
4. De‑Identified & Aggregate Data
We may aggregate and anonymize any data (Client Data, Customer Data, usage data) so it cannot be tied to an individual. Such data may be used, shared or sold for any lawful purpose, including benchmarking and product improvements.

We keep Personal Data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy, or to satisfy legal, tax or accounting requirements.

6.1 Cookies
You can disable or delete cookies via your browser settings, though this may limit functionality.
6.2 Communications
Unsubscribe links are included in all marketing emails. You cannot opt out of transactional emails necessary to deliver the Service.
6.3 Consent Withdrawal
You may withdraw any consent you have given for processing your Personal Data by contacting us (see Section 10), subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
7. Access, Correction & Deletion
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your Personal Data. We will verify your identity before acting on any request. If you are a customer of one of our Clients, please direct such requests to them first.
8. Security Safeguards
We implement physical, technical and administrative measures – including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and periodic security reviews – to protect Personal Data. However, no system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are intended for users aged 16 or older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the applicable age of consent (16 in the EU, 13 in the US). If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us to have it deleted.
