About the Role
We’re looking for a scrappy, smart, and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growth team. You’ll be responsible for identifying and reaching out to new leads, starting conversations, and booking qualified demos for our Account Executives.
This isn’t your average SDR role. At ShopView, we value creativity, automation, and empathy. You’ll use tools like Hubspot, ChatGPT, and Intercom to craft sharp outreach, personalize at scale, and build relationships with shop owners who are usually too busy to pick up the phone-unless you’re good.
This is a role for someone who loves the hunt, isn’t afraid of a cold call, and gets a rush from turning a “not interested” into a “tell me more.”
What You’ll Do
- Prospect daily to identify and research new repair shops that could benefit from ShopView.
- Reach out via cold calls, emails, and social channels to start meaningful conversations.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book product demos for the sales team.
- Write high-quality outreach sequences using automation + a personal touch.
- Use AI tools to increase efficiency, personalize messaging, and analyze what’s working.
- Maintain clean, organized records of outreach and results in our CRM (HubSpot).
- Learn the ins and outs of ShopView and the shop management software space.
- Work closely with marketing and customer success to improve lead quality and messaging.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of SDR or sales experience (SaaS, tech, or B2B strongly preferred).
- You’re comfortable cold calling and cold emailing-and can handle rejection with grace.
- You can write clear, sharp, and friendly outreach that feels human (not spammy).
- Organized, self-motivated, and metrics-driven-you like knowing the scoreboard.
- Curious about AI tools and how to use them to move faster and smarter.
- Comfortable speaking with shop owners, service advisors, and mechanics.
- A positive, resourceful attitude-you figure things out, ask questions, and keep going.
Bonus Points For
- Experience selling into small businesses or trade industries (especially auto/truck repair).
- Familiarity with tools like Apollo, HubSpot, ChatGPT, and Loom.
- Spanish fluency.
- Prior experience at an early-stage startup.
